Dr Myung-Sik Yoo joined the CRL in January 2004 as a Research Scholar. Dr. Yoo is now at Rutger's University working as a Research Associate in the SAS - DLS - W.M. Keck Center for Collaborative Neuroscience. He received his Masters degree from Chonnam National University, South Korea 1990 in Embryology and his Ph.D. from Chonnam National University, South Korea (1999) in Neuro Endocrinology. His Thesis title was: “Molecular cloning, distribution and pharmacological characterization of a novel gonadotropin-releasing hormone ([Trp8] GnRH) in frog brain” Subsequently, Dr Myung worked as a research fellow at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, South Korea (2000) followed by work at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University at Burke Medical Research Institute, White Plains, NY, USA (2003). Dr Myung has worked for the last 4 years in the area of Neurobiology.

Research Interests:
Neurogenesis and Neuronal Differentiation from Human Embryonic Stem Cell, Molecular Neuro Embryology, Neuronal Disease and Transgenic Animals.
