Naoki joined
the research team of the Cellular Reprogramming Lab in August
2003. Naoki earned his Bachelor and Master of Agriculture degrees
from Nihon University, College of Agriculture and Veterinary
Medicine, Department of Animal Science. He earned his Ph.D.
degree also from Nihon University. He worked with Prof. T. Nishida
on his dissertation study on “The Study on the Vasa homologue
gene in chicken germ line development.” Naoki was a Pre-doctoral
research fellow at Mitsubishi-Kagaku Institute of Life Sciences
under the guidance of Dr. H. Fujimoto and Dr. T. Noce. After
having acquired his Ph.D. degree, Naoki was a Post-doctoral
research fellow at Mitsubishi-Kagaku Institute of Life Sciences
and University of Tokyo. While at the Cellular Reprogramming
Lab, Naoki will be working with stem cell and germ cell development.
